Christine Paolilla

An Instagram follower asked me to look into this case. She was a childhood friend of Christine Paolilla and when she went to look her up found she had committed these terrible crimes. The Clearlake Murders reached national headlines and Christine was only 17-years-old when she committed them along with her boyfriend Christopher Snider, 21, who committed suicide before police could arrest him. The victims were her two friends Tiffany Rowell and Rachael Koloroutis, two girls who had befriended and mentored Christine when she first moved to town, as well as Rowell's boyfriend Marcus Precella, and Precella's cousin Adelbert Sanchez. According to Wikipedia: On July 18, 2003, Paolilla and Snider went to her friend Tiffany Rowell's home in Clear Lake City. Also at the home were Rachael Koloroutis, Rowell's boyfriend Marcus Precella, and Precella's cousin Adelbert Sanchez. According to Paolilla, she and Snider planned to steal the drugs that were kept at the house b

Daily True Crime Writer

This time of year... ugh. What can I say? Some people are filled with holiday cheer and I so wish I was one of them. I am not exactly Scrooge McDuck but I get uber sad and all emo this time of year. I miss my mom. I cant do things for my loved ones that I'd like too. My daughter is all the way across the country. Each year, I say Next year I will have the perfect Christmas for everyone I love. But I never do. You know the drill. At least some of you do. It is best for me to stay busy until the day after Christmas when I take down my tree with more holiday joy than most people did putting theirs up. I have a full slate of work for various content mills (Textbroker, Verblio, etc.) just to fill up the day because I don't have anything for any of my private clients except an idea I'm working on for Sinfully Vin . I have an article Ive written called Small Town Horror Story about my experience with Skott Hale I need to shop around. It is part of a true crime memoire I have

Jennifer Trent - Barefoot Bay Florida Murderer

Jennifer Trent is 38-year-old and she will be in prison for the rest of her life. She and her 7-year-old son moved into the home of 70-year-old Doris Johnston.  Doris had a big heart and hoped to help Jennifer get back on her feet. Things were great for a while but eventually Jennifer began to feel resentful toward the older woman and her comfortable way of life. Police said in early January of 2015, Jennifer bashed Doris over the head with something and drug her into a backyard laundry building where she lingered in and out of consciousness for days. Eventually, Jennifer smothered her but continued to use the laundry room for several days. Once Doris was dead, Jennifer used her credit cards and savings to buy high-end electronics and toys. Doris's son was getting suspicious, despite Jennifer's tale that she had booked a trip to Chicago for an indefinite stay. He sent the police to do a welfare check and they noticed several boxes to new TVs and game consoles. They ask

You, Me, & Murder

If you have ever heard any of the interviews I have done, you know why I was made for this job. My whole life has been plagued by murder and mayhem. I have seen it from directions not many other people have. It has been said in many languages and cultures that we do not see the world as it is, but as we are. Having this unique history has certainly tinted the way I look at law, criminals, and justice. I am just one of many, however. One of the reasons I got a criminal justice degree, worked in county probation, work with inmates, and write crime is because I am interested in the how and why, which is different in every case. It is also different from every point of view, which is why I am asking readers for their own personal true crime story. The Woman Condemned is asking for YOUR personal stories. Have you been involved in a crime, as a victim, accomplice, perpetrator, or innocent bystander? Tell me about it. Send me an email at admin@thewomancondemned.com and if I use your story

Angela Kilgore Pawn Shop Murderess

Whitwell, Tennessee is about an hour and a half drive from my home. It doesn't seem that far. Its mostly hills and farms and livestock. I had a friend who died in a motorcycle crash in the 80's who was from there. The whole crew, all of his friends, rode through the street in a big long bike convoy to the funeral home. That is my sole interaction with Whitwell. Just this past August, however, that tiny town was statewide news with the trial of the pawn shop murder of Jerry Ridge by 51-year-old Angela Kilgore. The jury has convicted now 53-year-old Kilgore in the murder of a Whitwell pawn shop owner two years ago. Angela Kilgore was found guilty of first-degree murder, felony murder, especially aggravated robbery and aggravated arson and theft. Jurors deliberated for only about 45 minutes. She received an automatic life without parole sentence. She was sentenced in late October for her other lesser crimes. Prosecutors claimed she was attempting to rob the pawn shop but en
