Holly Aeschlimann, 19 was murdered in Connecticut in April of 2015. This case is amazingly close to that of Rachel Wade. Holly and her killer, Heather Birden, 20, had a longstanding dislike for each other. Heather had stabbed another girl, a juvenile, once before in 2014. She was held in Niantic Correctional Facility for next three months before the murder as a result of a violation of her probation, and was then released to an in-patient substance abuse rehabilitation facility.

 Reports state that Birden asked her boyfriend for his knife and then left his house to find Holly stating "I have to end this tonight." Witnesses say Heather arrived and the two began to fight, ending in Holly being stabbed in the head and neck at a crosswalk outside an apartment complex in Torrington, CT.  Her friends rushed her to the hospital where she died. 

 Heather was hiding under a vehicle a short distance away and feigned confusion when police found her. She spent the next several hours under investigation alternately crying and showing confusion before eventually admitting to stabbing Holly.

 Witnesses and friends of the two girls say they had never gotten along and bickered and fought all through high school. News reports stated this particular fight was over a boy Holly was dating and Heather was friends with. 

 A witness captured the fight on cell phone video. Police say it was Holly who threw the first punch and can be seen clearly pummeling Heather who is under her at one point. From her position under Holly, she swings the knife and slices Holly's throat. Holly stand up and holds her throat. Blood is seen escaping through her fingers and she screams for someone to take her to the hospital. 

 She was officially charged with murder in on May 1, 2015 and is in jail on a $1.2 million bond.

    As a Floridian and former friend of Rachel Wade, the only correlation I see between this case and Rachel's is what the fight was over and ultimately how it ended, although it's obvious Heather appears out for blood and Rachel was standing her ground.

    Heather was afraid of holly and said so when she took the knife. It was the third time holly beat her up and they filmed it to humiliate heather

    Witnesses lied to police and Joe surgeon was beat up twice. The first time to shut him up because he tricked heather into being there

    Heather was not out for blood, I know her more than anyone and know she wouldn't purposely go out to hurt someone in that manner. And she didn't get a knife from her Boyfriend , why because I'm her Boyfriend both now and At the time. And I wasn't in the area. I hope everything goes well, I pray for my love every day, I hope God listens to my prayers.

      Thanks for your opinions and for reading the blog. The statements and facts I used for this article came straight from the police report. The name your posting under is not the names listed as her boyfriend and they are the ones who made the comments about the knife.

      It looks like holly may not have known they were going to film it to post on the internet. Heathers friends worked with samantha webb to set this up. They should all gp tojail

    No matter how you look st everyone in this is wrong the bf weather you did or didn't give her the kinfe should go to jail for helping her holly as well she thought the first punch and if she didn't she would still be here today but since she did the other girl did what she did

    I was Heather's bunkee at York Correctional. She is a bright, beautiful person. Heather felt nothing but remorse as she explained what had happened that night. She told me she was pretty much bullied by Holly, but still feels remorse. She is still a kid at heart, crying for home. I do miss being with her, and wish her a happy life, finding peace while still wearing a uniform, and when she finally walks out of the gate. It won't be an easy transition, and I hope she's forgiven, by society, and herself.

Brenda Andrew Execution date

     Brenda Andrew is the only woman on Oklahoma death row. She is there for the murder of her husband by her and her boyfriend James Pavatt.      Brenda does not answer letters. It seems she may still have a bit of that pretentious attitude left over from her days as a respected deacons wife. Those days are over, hun.      There is no scheduled execution date for Brenda yet. Oklahoma lists its dates of execution for the prison she is in here .      Every time I read about this case I am utterly amazed at how stupid these two people were. She may as well have advertised their guilt on a billboard in front of the house. Both Andrew's and Pavatt's appeal were systematically denied without comment in 2008.
