Florida’s Margaret Allen

Margaret Allen is the latest woman in Florida to be sentenced to death. She killed her maid after accusing her of stealing from her.

She does have a diminished mental capacity but the terms of the murder were quite ghastly including strangulation and stabbing. because of her own mental issues, Margaret may not know what the outcomes of her actions are.

Why didn't she have someone to look after her or why wasn't she institutionalized? Should we kill people who have been so severely abused themselves that they do not understand their own actions? Why didn't local authorities pay attention to this insane person before she did something like this instead of waiting around for it to happen?

I began writing to Darlie in December of 2005 and she is one woman whom I will never understand how she got behind bars. Really. You know what else? As human beings, we have trouble fathoming the idea of a young girl committing so atrocious a crime as murder. Much less, the murder of her own mother. Her 15-year-old friend, Annie Belcher, helped her dig a grave in the backyard. The pair poured alcohol and nail polish remover on the dead woman and tried to ignite her to no avail. Brenda Andrew Execution date

Brenda Andrew is the only woman on Oklahoma death row. She is there for the murder of her husband by her and her boyfriend James Pavatt. Brenda does not answer letters. It seems she may still have a bit of that pretentious attitude left over from her days as a respected deacons wife. Those days are over, hun. There is no scheduled execution date for Brenda yet. Oklahoma lists its dates of execution for the prison she is in here . Every time I read about this case I am utterly amazed at how stupid these two people were.
