Today sucks. It should not. I should be ecstatic. I got a very encouraging letter from an agent yesterday. Not only did she NOT say "No" but gave me a very firm "Maybe". She asked a few questions about the book and my focus which seems to be the $24,000 question. I thought it was rather self evident but it is not. I get that question a lot.

Anyway, I am unhappy because I found out today that n ot only will the IRS not give me a Earned Income Credit they are taking the rest of my tax rebate for bills my husband owed before we were married. This really sucks because my sons birthday is Friday. Im flat broke. That makes me sad.

Not to mention Im hungry. They dont call us Starving Writers for nothing.

So, Im going to work on this book some more today and drink a lot of water and pretend that Im just on a diet.

The Most Beautiful Girls to Ever Kill Their Own Mother

As human beings, we have trouble fathoming the idea of a young girl committing so atrocious a crime as murder. Much less, the murder of her own mother. Heather Birden Connecticut

Holly Aeschlimann Holly Aeschlimann, 19 was murdered in Connecticut in April of 2015. This case is amazingly close to that of Rachel Wade. Holly and her killer, Heather Birden, 20, had a longstanding dislike for each other. Heather had stabbed another girl, a juvenile, once before in 2014. She was  held in Niantic Correctional Facility for next three months before the murder as a result of a violation of her probation, and was then released to an in-patient substance abuse rehabilitation facility. Reports state that Birden asked her boyfriend for his knife and then left his house to find Holly stating "I have to end this tonight." Witnesses say Heather arrived and the two began to fight, ending in Holly being stabbed in the head and neck at a crosswalk outside an apartment complex in Torrington, CT.  Her friends rushed her to the hospital where she died.  Heather was hiding under a vehicle a short distance away and feigned confusion when police found her.
